Richard A. Cross, O.D.

Dr. Richard Cross is an experienced optometrist who also provides free eye examinations to the under-privalged people of Jamaica.

Dr. Cross, optometrist in Boulder, CO, graduated from Michigan College of Optometry, Ferris State University in 1989. He founded Boulder Vision Associates in 1993. He is a member of the American and Colorado Optometric Associations. Dr. Cross has worked with laser refractive surgical patients (LASIK and PRK) for myopia, hyperopia, and astigmatism since it was first available to patients in Colorado. He also fits specialty contact lenses for patients with bifocals, dry eyes, and astigmatism.

Dr. Cross has received the following certifications:

  • Avanced Ocular Theraputics Certification
  • Glaucoma Management/LASER Certification
  • LASER Refractive Surery Co-Mangement Certification

Dr. Cross was involved in the Amrion Age Related Macular Degeneration Research Study and Contact Lens Ocular Complications Study (C.L.O.C.S.). He has served in the past as a proctor for the Colorado State Board of Examiners , and participated in Psychology Research at Ferris State University. He has served on both the Gunbarrel Public Improvement District and SCFD/Boulder County Citizens Cultural Advisory Committee. He has also served on the Board of Trustee's for The Community Foundation.

Dr. Cross has been recognized for his work with providing eye care to the underserved in Jamaica and in Boulder. He has received the United Nations Association Human Rights Award, BCBR Health Care Heroes Award, e-Town's e-Chievement Award, and the Boulder County Multicultural Award for Health.

Peter R. Andrews, M.D

Dr. Peter Andrews is an excellent eye surgeon specializing in corneal disease and LASIK refractive eye surgery.

Peter Andrews, M.D. is a board certified, fellowship trained cornea, external disease and refractive surgery specialist. Dr. Andrews received his bachelor's degree in computer science from the University of Florida, Gainesville. After several years as a software engineer he graduated from medical school at the Wake Forest University School of Medicine. Dr. Andrews completed his ophthalmology residency and fellowship training at the University of Florida.

Dr. Andrews is a trained cornea specialist performing procedures such as:

  • PTK
  • INTACS for keratoconus
  • cornea transplants, including the less invasive DSEK and anterior lamellar transplants, of which he was an early adopter
  • refractive surgery, including Custom and Traditional LASIK, PRK and ICL's
  • cataract surgery utilizing the latest refractive lens technology (ReStor, Crystalens and toric IOL's)

Dr. Andrews is also certified in the FDA approved AlphaCor™ artificial cornea for advanced corneal disease.

Dr. Andrews enjoys performing refractive surgery, cataract surgery and has a strong interest in corneal infectious diseases. He is a member of the American Medical Association, the American Academy of Ophthalmology, and the American Association of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons.

Paige M. Paddock, O.D

Dr. Paige Paddock is a conscientious optometrist who prescribes and treats her patients using the latest optometric products and technology.

Dr. Paddock grew up in Wichita, Kansas and Boulder, Colorado. She is a graduate of Fairview High School, Boulder, and earned her Bachelor's in Psychology degree in 2002 from the University of Colorado, Boulder. Dr. Paddock attended graduate school at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry, Philadelphia, where she received a Bachelor of Science degree and a Doctorate of Optometry degree. While there, she provided primary, emergency, and surgical care to patients at The Eye Institute and was recognized for her achievements with an award for clinical excellence.

Dr. Paddock is state licensed and board certified as a Doctor of Optometry in the State of Colorado. She is a member of the American Optometric Association and Colorado Optometric Association. Dr. Paddock joined Boulder Vision Associates in 2006 and continues her education through classes and certifications, so that she is prescribing and treating her patients with the latest optometric products and technology. She is experienced in comprehensive medical eye examinations for all ages, contact lens fittings, laser vision correction co-management and treatment of ocular disease.

Dr. Paddock and her husband enjoy spending time with their families and friends, water skiing, snow skiing, attending area sporting events and participating in college alumni activities.
